This affordable option is perfect for communities just beginning an effective charity movement, or as a follow-up to a full-day workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions

A fully virtual or hybrid training event hosted by a Network member organization. 

  • Before an upcoming Community Workshop, to build energy and boost attendance.
  • In place of a Community Workshop, for organizations that don’t yet feel ready to bring together a large audience or whose funding is limited.
  • As a follow-up to a Community Workshop, to maintain momentum, in which case there could be one Gathering or a series of Gatherings.
  • For a single organization’s staff or volunteer training (note that this option increases cost).
  • To help church and nonprofit leaders run more empowering programs.
  • To facilitate community impact by encouraging organizations to join the True Charity Network.

Hybrid events (local people are in-person, True Charity staff are virtual; the host organization must have projector, screen, audio, and internet access):

  • Lunch or breakfast, True Charity recorded content presented, True Charity staff facilitates remote discussion and Q&A
  • Lunch or breakfast, True Charity staff gives remote presentation, facilitates discussion, and remote Q&A

Fully remote events (both locals and True Charity staff are virtual):

  • Live viewing of recorded True Charity content, True Charity staff facilitates remote discussion and Q&A.
  • True Charity staff gives a remote presentation, then facilitates discussion and Q&A. 5. Audience views the recorded presentation ahead of time; True Charity staff meets virtually for 30-45 minutes of Q&A.

All formats include a True Charity Network Overview.

Because one key purpose of a True Charity Gathering is to share our message with new audiences, we offer a significant post-event rebate of $100 if: A) Five non-member organizations attend the event and B) True Charity receives the contact information of all attendees for follow-up and support.

  • Hybrid or fully remote recorded format with True Charity Q&A: $200 ($100 with rebate)
  • Hybrid or fully remote live presentation with True Charity Q&A: $350 ($250 with rebate)
