Work is part of God’s good design for his creation. Work is for everyone, because all bear the image of God and are blessed with unique gifts and abilities. Yet, in many communities, significant barriers stand in the way of obtaining and keeping meaningful work. To restore people to flourishing within the workforce is one of the greatest challenges God has given us to solve.
In this workshop attendees will:
Explore how false stories have shaped our beliefs about work
Investigate the narrative of poverty within three groups of people
Examine how definitions of poverty and work can be informed by the 4 key relationships
